How can I browse listings?
You can browse active listings across all seven emirates without signing in. Filter by emirate, category, and price range, sort by newest, price, or quantity, and switch between grid and list views. Signing in lets you save favourites, negotiate, and reserve.
How do buyers and sellers communicate?
Through in-app chat, which opens once the buyer's payment is held in escrow. The exact pickup location is shared there. To keep both sides protected, sharing phone numbers or emails in chat is not allowed.
Does AlKhiidma arrange collection and transport?
No. AlKhiidma is the marketplace only. Collection, transport, timing, and their costs are negotiated directly between buyer and seller. AlKhiidma does not arrange haulage or act as a carrier.
Does AlKhiidma verify users?
Yes. Any signed-in account can buy and sell; company accounts also keep their company certificate (trade license) on file to post. Individuals who verify their identity with UAE PASS, and companies whose trade licence passes our review, earn a verified badge shown on their listings and profile.
Is delivery or pickup included in the price?
No. Listing prices are for the material only. Collection, transport, timing, and their costs are agreed directly between the buyer and the seller once chat opens. AlKhiidma is the marketplace and does not arrange haulage.
How is payment for the material handled between buyer and seller?
The buyer pays through the platform (the listed price plus a 7% service charge) in two halves: 50% to reserve, and the remaining 50% in the app after inspecting the material and before pickup. The money is held in escrow rather than passed straight to the seller, and is released only after the buyer confirms pickup on site by scanning the seller's QR code, which only works once the full amount is paid. Neither side has to trust the other up front, and no payment should ever be made outside the platform.
Is there a fee to buy or to message a seller?
Browsing the marketplace is free and does not require an account. There is no subscription to buy or to chat, but every purchase carries a flat 7% service charge added to the listed price, shown before you pay. Sellers pay to publish a listing.
