Buyer Terms
United Arab Emirates · Version 1.0 · Last updated 1 January 2026
4.1 Application
These Buyer Terms apply to all Users accessing the Platform for the purpose of purchasing, procuring, or otherwise acquiring materials ("Buyers"). They supplement and must be read in conjunction with the Terms and Conditions.
4.2 Acknowledgements
By acting as a Buyer on the Platform, you acknowledge that all transactions are entered into directly between the Buyer and the Seller; that Alkhiidma is not a party to any transaction and bears no liability for transaction outcomes; and that it is the Buyer's sole responsibility to conduct due diligence on the Seller, the materials, and all applicable regulatory requirements. Alkhiidma does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, quality, legality, or fitness for purpose of any listing or materials. The Buyer is responsible for ensuring that all materials purchased comply with applicable UAE environmental, waste management, and transport regulations.
4.3 Buyer Responsibilities
Buyers must:
- conduct adequate due diligence before entering into any transaction;
- verify the identity and credentials of the Seller independently or using available Platform verification tools;
- agree all transaction terms directly with the Seller, including price, quantity, specification, collection arrangements, and transport;
- ensure all materials are used, handled, or disposed of in compliance with applicable UAE law;
- obtain all necessary permits and licences required for the purchase, transport, or processing of materials; and
- report suspected fraud or suspicious activity to the Company promptly.
4.4 Payment
For reserved transactions, Alkhiidma collects the Buyer's refundable deposit, a non-refundable platform reservation fee, and the final balance, and holds the material payment as a non-licensed intermediary pending the Buyer's confirmation of collection. On confirmation, the Seller is paid the material value less a 5% platform commission. Alkhiidma is not a licensed escrow agent and holds funds in its own non-segregated account. Deposit refunds following a rejected inspection are handled under the dispute process. Collection and logistics are agreed directly between Users.
4.5 Disputes
Disputes between Buyers and Sellers are governed by the Dispute Resolution Policy. The Company may, at its discretion and without obligation, facilitate communication between parties but shall not arbitrate, adjudicate, or bear any liability for the outcome of any dispute.
4.6 Indemnification
The Buyer indemnifies the Company against all claims, losses, and expenses arising from the Buyer's purchases, use of materials, or breach of these Buyer Terms or applicable law.
